So I'm listening to Cradle of Filth and I really cannot decide if I like this kind of music or not...

I'd give Emperor a try. Listen to the album In The Nightside Eclipse, it's a classic Smile

It is quite good - just not the sort of think I usually listen to. I don't really like the vocal style.

Not sure what sort of vocal style Cradle Of Filth would be considered. I used to enjoy it a lot during my younger days, but after listening to it for so long...the voice sort of pushes you away. To each their own Very Happy Here's another great BM song.

Took me awhile to get used to this, but it pays off in the long run.

I shall do so for you now. Smile You type before and after the link - without the spaces, of course.

I just generally don't like BM, although I am partial to a bit of Impaled Nazarene. This topic was meant to be more towards Symphonic Metal, but ah well - Black Metal probably interests people more. Razz

This isn't symphonic black metal, but you might like it more for the clean vocal passages and such. They're my personal favourite black metal band at the minute. Production is very good for the genre also.

Awesome! This is another song of theirs which you may like. This is the best quality video on youtube that I could find, and it doesn't have the song name lol. It's supposed to be yttligare ett steg närmare total jävla utfrysning

The fifth track. It's a cover of Moonlight Sonata, but the band named the cover version 'Eightysixthousandfourhundred' for some reason hehe
