So I'm jamming to Blackwater Park and I realised I had to make a thread about the godliness of this band. They are amazing. 'Nuff said.
They've popped out a new album recently - Heritage. I've only heard one song thus far and it hasn't grown on me yet, but Opeth's a grower...they're the sort of band you have to stop and listen to, also, as only then can you appreciate how beautiful their music is. I can't pick a favourite album, they're all completely different and have their own strengths and moods.
